When exactly does the Overnight Saver apply?
Every night, from 8pm to 7am. Seven nights a week, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If your session runs across the boundary, you pay the rate that applies for each part of it. Plug in at 7pm on a Tuesday and you will pay 82p until 8pm, then 69p after that.
When does the Weekend Saver apply?
Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 8pm, at 79p per kWh.
Outside those hours the weekend follows the same pattern as the rest of the week. From 8pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights you are on the Overnight Saver at 69p, which is the cheaper of the two.
Do I need to do anything to get the cheaper rates?
No. Start your charge in the Osprey app, or let Osprey Go start it for you, and the right rate is applied automatically. There is nothing to opt into, no code to enter and no subscription.
