How to deposit for the first time

Note: Orbex accepts payments ONLY from accounts in the client's name. Any payments from third-party accounts will not be accepted and will be refunded.

The Amount Deposited

When it comes to the amount of money you should deposit, here are a few things to consider beforehand:

Leverage and Margin: it is a good idea to check if the amount deposited is sufficient to open trades based on your current leverage setting.

In other words, you need to ensure that your available account margin is enough to sustain the positions you’d like to open using your available leverage. To calculate your required margin and position size, you may also use our free currency and pip value calculators.

Deposit steps:

  1. Enter your member area


  2. Click the deposit option.


  3. Fill out the initial information: "Currency, trading account/wallet, deposit value)

  4. Choose a suitable deposit method.

  5. Fill in all required information and follow the steps to finalize the deposit request.

  6. Click confirm payment.

Most deposits are added instantly; however, in some cases, it might take up to 2 hours during weekdays.

If you used your credit/debit card to deposit, you will receive an email from our team asking for a photo of the card you used for the deposit. That is following the rules implied by the regulators.
