Many flex spaces allow non-active members to book resources only during business hours, when staff are available at the reception. Active members, on the other hand, often have 24/7 access.
To support these policies in OfficeRnD Flex, admins can restrict bookings outside business hours and choose whether the rule applies to active members, non-active members, or both.
The business hour bookings setting is available globally at Settings > Calendar > Business Hours and per location in the Add/Edit Location dialog. Admins must be able to forbid Non-active members from booking outside business hours in the Public Calendar.
Applies only to resources bookable by Time. It does not apply to resources bookable by Date.
Restrict bookings outside business hours
When the Restrict outside business hours bookings option is selected, admins can choose to forbid bookings for:
Active members β Active members can't book outside business hours.
Non-active members β Non-active members can't book outside business hours.
Possible configurations and behaviors
There are four possible configurations and their resulting behaviors.
Both Active and Non-active members can book 24h
Both Active and Non-active members cannot book outside business hours
Only Non-active members cannot book outside business hours
Only Active members cannot book outside business hours
