1. Introduction

The Performance Collection screen is designed to analyze product performance from various perspectives. It helps identify key factors influencing revenue and margin results.

This screen can be accessed:

  • From the product screens (via the three dots to the right of the search bar, same shortcut as Pareto analysis).

  • From the Collection menu by selecting Performance.

2. Scope of Analysis

Like all other screens, this tool is based on a defined scope of analysis, which includes:

  • Points of sale: Based on your selection of the business / mode / country and channel triplet (adjustable via filters for greater precision).

  • Analysis period:

    • Can be short or long.

    • A period shorter than a week is not recommended as trends may be random.

  • Product selection: All existing filters are available to refine the selection.

Recommendation

It is advised to apply filters that clean data of inactive references (e.g., Collection filter) to ensure relevant KPIs.

3. Collection Selection

If you access this screen via the Collection menu, you will need to select a specific collection. The analysis will then focus on its overall performance.

4. Comparison Between Comp/LFL and Non-Comp

  • Comp/LFL: Performance analysis comparing the same stores across different periods.

  • Non-Comp: Analysis including new stores.

5. Selecting the Main Indicator

A selector allows you to choose the primary analysis axis:

  • Revenue / Sales Revenue.

  • Margin.

6. Selecting the Product Hierarchy Level

The recommended level is department, which can be specified via the Group By selector where all hierarchy levels are available.

7. Analysis Process (Deep Research)

Key Points:

  • The goal is to detect factors that influenced performance.

  • The analysis covers all axes of the selected hierarchy level, whether contextual (stock, weather...) or performance-related (hierarchical axis contribution to performance, revenue, margin, product desirability, sell-through, etc.).

  • Only axes with significant variation will be displayed, allowing focus on key performance drivers.

  • This in-depth analysis may lead to longer response times due to the number of tested axes and data volume. The broader the selected scope, the longer the analysis may take.

  • The tested axes are defined with super users. If a relevant axis is missing or unnecessary, contact your administrator.

  • To view more details, click on the magnifying glass icon to zoom in on finer hierarchical levels.

8. Contribution to Performance

The analysis calculates the contribution of each axis retained for your business. It identifies significant changes compared to the comparison period:

  • Example:

    • Significant increase or decrease in certain categories.

    • Changes in contributions by customer cluster.

    • An increase in available stock may positively influence revenue, but a large increase without proper sell-through may impact margin.

Only axes with a significant contribution will be displayed, along with their main components.

Detailed View

  • To see the full breakdown of contributions, click on the magnifying glass.

9. Analysis at a Lower Hierarchical Level

Two options:

  1. Change the level in "Group By": Analysis of the entire scope.

  2. Click on the magnifying glass to the right of a specific level: More detailed analysis of a restricted scope.

10. Contact and Updates

If you notice a missing or irrelevant axis, contact your administrator to adjust the analysis parameters.
