The markdowns are fundamental. They are formatted under various scenarios from the simplest to the most complicated.
The purpose of this screen is to understand the contribution and performance of every result and to see if they lead to the expected impacts and at what cost.
This screen is made up of two views: a table-type view accompanied by a graphic view.
A promotion is a markdown that is only related to the product that is temporarily or permanently subject to a price change.
A commercial operation is a marketing action where a markdown is linked to a more or less complex condition that can be distributed in a combination over several products and / or a customer status. The markdown can be applied to one or more products.
View 1: Tables
The table view allows you to see the indicators related to the selected axis: transaction qty in number of tickets, revenue in sales value, Gross Margin in volume of Margout, and quantity in pieces sold. Every indicator is declined for all collections sold in the period, country and channel selected and a total line shows the performance of the whole company.
There are two tables, a first which allows you to see the 3 categories of price : Full price, Promotion or Commercial OP and a second which allows you to see the detailed results by Commercial operation.
In the ticket view you have a contributory analysis by type of ticket.
Full price are the ticket with 100% of the products full price.
Promo tickets are tickets with at least one product in promotion.
OP COM tickets are tickets with at least one OP COM applied.
In the revenue, margin and quantity views you have an analysis by type of price by product line (and not by ticket) so the full price part only contains full price sales, promotions only promotion sales and OP COM only sales in commercial operations.
View 2: Graph
This graphic view allows you to see exactly the types of markdown of every collection over time (one color per type). This graph shows the selected period and its equivalent in Y-1 (LY) in the form of two concentric circles, the inner circle being the previous year.
