Every 9ID journey starts with an invitation. An administrator invites you by email, that mail carries your personal access code, and redeeming it creates your account and shows exactly which tasks are still open before you are allowed on site.
Open your invitation mail
Your journey starts with a “Welcome!” email, sent the moment an administrator invites you.
A personal invitation should be waiting in your inbox.
Find the Get your access code button, the fallback magic link and your invitation code.
Keep the mail — the code (e.g. XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is personal.
Step 1: open your invitation mail
💡 Tip: Can’t find the mail? Check spam. Codes also expire, so ask your administrator to resend it.
Redeem your access code
One click turns the invitation into your personal 9ID account.
Select Get your access code in the mail.
You are redirected to the screen below, where you see the tasks relevant to your profile.
No redirect? Paste the magic link in your browser.
A banner on top means you also have company tasks to complete, you can finish those after logging in, once your account setup is done.
Step 2: redeem your access code

Account Setup is always your first open task.
Enter your first and last name.
Choose a password: upper- and lowercase, digits, at least 12 characters.
Continue unlocks once both password fields match.
Step 3: complete your account setup
Check your remaining tasks
Your overview lists every role you were invited for, with its tasks and expiry info.
A green check means the task is done.
An hourglass means the task is still waiting for you.
Land in your company portal
After logging in you arrive in the 9ID Contractor portal — your central hub for managing employees and staying compliant.
Sign in on the 9ID Tower login page with your email and new password.
Use the quick actions to complete pending tasks, add a worker or view upcoming jobs.
The cards show pending tasks, your workers and upcoming jobs at a glance.
Bookmark your login URL so you can reach this page quickly next time.

✅ You’re done when…
Your invitation code is redeemed and your password is set.
Every task under your role shows a green check.
No banner blocks your access at the top of the overview.
You can sign in and land in your 9ID Contractor portal.
