Setup is very straightforward. The microSD card slot can be found underneath the main camera housing, next to the setup button

Once you insert a compatible microSD card your SmartCam will make a sound which indicates it has accepted the card.

The SmartCam will immediately begin to record everything is sees to the microSD card. Once the card becomes full, the SmartCam will automatically begin overriding the oldest footage to make space for the latest live recording.

To access this footage you will need to remove the microSD card and connect it to a computer via SD card reader. From there you will be able to isolate the footage you need, and download the footage to your computer.

As your camera will not longer be connected to your local WiFi, this method will still work as long as the Smartcam is connected to a power.
