💡 Who Gets Access — and How

✅ Included for Year 11 & Year 13 Main Course Students

💳 Available as Paid Add-ons for Others

If your child is not enrolled in a Main Course — or only purchased Easter Revision — they can still join Exam Masterclasses as a standalone paid course:

1 subject - £59

2 subjects - £109

3+ subjects - £149

You can register for Exam Masterclasses via this link: https://exammasterclasses.myedspace.co.uk/?utm_source=cs

🔄️ Masterclasses lessons can be re-watched once they have taken place, as the recordings will be available until the end of the academic year (July 31st 2026).

🎯 What Are Exam Masterclasses?

Knowing the subject isn’t enough. You have to know the exam.

These sessions are designed to close the gap between understanding the content and performing under exam conditions — the gap where grades are won and lost.

Most students only realise this in the exam hall. Most parents never hear it at all.

Mark schemes are precise. Examiners reward specific phrasing, structures, and techniques. A student can know the content inside out and still lose marks — not because they didn’t understand it, but because they didn’t express it the way the examiner wanted.

Exam Masterclasses fix that.

🧠 What Students Learn

Your child doesn’t arrive at Exam Masterclasses to learn the subject. They arrive knowing it.

These sessions teach them how to perform in the exam — how to take everything they’ve worked for and make sure it lands on the page in a way that gets full marks.

🧮 Each paper (GCSE and A-level) includes:

1) Two live expert-led sessions in the days before the exam:

Session 1: Focus on question types and common mistakes that cost marks.

Session 2: Practice and consolidation, guided by a teacher who knows the exact paper inside out.

❗Please note that the number of sessions might differ depending on the level & subject of Exam Masterclasses.

2) Tailored to your child’s exam board:

For GCSEs:

Maths — Edexcel with Higher and Foundation tiers available.

Biology/Chemsitry/Physics — AQA with Higher and Foundation tiers available.

English — AQA exam board.

📚 English GCSE Texts Covered:

Shakespeare: Macbeth or Romeo & Juliet

19th-Century Novel: A Christmas Carol or Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde

Modern Text: An Inspector Calls or Blood Brothers

Poetry Anthology: Power & Conflict or Love & Relationships

Unseen Poetry: Skills only (no set texts)

For A-Levels:

Maths/ Further Maths — Edexcel.

Biology/Chemistry/Physics — AQA or OCR

3) Workbook with:

  • A checklist of topics

  • Walkthrough questions for each session

  • Extra practice questions with mark-focused answers

4) Live, interactive format — students work alongside peers sitting the same paper.

5) Psychologist-led wellbeing session — one for students, one for parents — to help manage pressure and support calmly.

👨‍🏫 Why It Works

  1. Teachers who know exam technique, not just the subject.

  2. They teach what gets full marks, what gets nothing, and how to write answers that the mark scheme rewards.

  3. Exam board-specific preparation.

  4. No generic content. Every session is built around your child’s actual paper.

  5. Structured schedule.

  6. The sessions go in the calendar. No nagging. No wondering. Just show up and be guided. Wellbeing matters.

  7. Because no amount of preparation helps if anxiety takes over. These sessions help students feel settled, not just ready.
