โFor students who hit this problem, these are the most reasonable steps to try first, based on YouTube's official troubleshooting guidance:
Lower the playback quality temporarily, especially on weaker connections or older devices. YouTube notes that playback reliability depends on available speed versus selected resolution.
Clear browser cache and cookies for YouTube / Google pages, then reload.
Disable extensions, especially ad blockers/privacy blockers, or test in an incognito/private window with extensions off.
Update the browser to the latest version, or try another supported browser
Restart the browser/device and retry.
If anything above doesnโt help, please try the troubleshooting steps below if possible:
Watch the stream in a different browser (Microsoft Edge recommended)
Enable or disable hardware acceleration in your browser settings, here is the video on how you can turn it off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQSnRrICg_A
Test the stream on a different device or computer
Make sure your graphics (GPU) drivers are fully up to date
