📜 Overall short guidance:

  • 🤔 When in doubt, pick:

    • Higher (in higher vs foundation)

    • Triple (in Triple vs Combined)

    • OCR (AQA vs OCR, when there is a choice)

    • Group 1 (in books)

These options will provide you with most of the content, topics for each curriculum you can find here: 🔗https://myedspace.co.uk/2025-26-Curricula

Please note you can always change the selected course on the dashboard by clicking on the 'Change course' button.

How it works

  • For Years 5-9 students:

    • Simply select subjects you want to take - no additional configuration needed

    • The appropriate curriculum will be automatically assigned to you

  • For Year 10 to Year 11 students:

    • Science: Choose between Combined / Triple Sciences. Students should not be Combined and Triple in one subject. In reality, if you pick “Triple”, you will also get “Combined” content.

    • English texts: Choose the books/plays matches your school's curriculum. **Group 1** covers: Macbeth, Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Power & Conflict
      - **Group 2** covers: Romeo & Juliet, Jekyll & Hyde, Blood Brothers, Love & Relationships

    • Tier (where relevant): Choose between Foundation (grades 1 to 5) / Higher (grades 4-9).

      • Students shouldn't be both Foundation AND Higher. If you don't know, you should pick Higher. Higher will contain more content.

  • For A Level students:

    • For Biology and Chemistry exam boards: You have the choice between AQA and OCR curricula. If you have any doubts, pick OCR as that curriculum contains the most applicable content to other exam boards.

  • Exam boards (AQA / Edexcel / OCR): You may see an exam board that doesn’t exactly match with what your school teaches. That’s completely fine! Our resources are designed to suit most schools, and our team can advise if you’re unsure.

    • Maths / Further Maths - EdExcel

    • Sciences - AQA or OCR

      • Pick OCR as it covers more content and will be relevant for more exam boards

    • If your exam board is not appearing here, it’s fine, just pick OCR.
