Adding attachments to email

Add one attachment to an email

You can add a maximum of 1 file per email. The following conditions apply to this attachment:

  • maximum size: 3 MB

  • allowed file types: pdf, doc, docx, ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx, ics

You add the attachment at the bottom of the draft email or registration confirmation. Click "Select attachment" to upload a file.

Important: use a safe file name

Only use the following in file names:

  • letters a–z

  • numbers 0–9

  • a hyphen -

Do not use special characters, such as:

  • !

  • .

  • @

  • *

  • #

  • é

  • ü

  • î

These characters may be seen as untrusted and can cause error messages.

Always check the file name before uploading the file.

Add multiple files

Do you want to share multiple files in one email? Then use the Attachments page.

On the Attachments page, you can:

  • add multiple files

  • upload files up to a total of 10 MB

You can then add the following to your email:

  • a button linking to the Attachments page

  • or a hyperlink to the Attachments page

Use a direct link to a file

You can also place a direct link to a file in your email. Follow these steps:

  1. Add the file to the Attachments page in the Website Module (Pages).

  2. Open this page in the desktop version.

  3. Download the attachment from this page.

  4. The file will then open in a new tab.

  5. Copy the URL from that tab.

  6. Use this URL in your email as a hyperlink.

Tip

Use a direct link when you want to give customers quick access to one specific document, without making them go to an overview page first.
