Get started with Mobaro the right way! Follow our this guide to set up Users, Locations, Checklists, and more for optimal efficiency.

Overview

Getting started with a new system can be overwhelming. To ease the process, we've compiled the following steps to guide you towards a fully functioning Mobaro setup.

These steps assume that you are logged in with a User account with Super User access, created by your Mobaro contact. If you have not received this information, please reach out to your Mobaro contact.

Initial Setup Steps

Create your Users

Start by adding all the Users who will need access to Mobaro. [Read more: Users]

Create Your Locations

Define the Locations where activities will take place. [Read more: Locations]

Create Your User Groups and Add Members

Group your Users to manage permissions and access easily. [Read more: User Groups]

Tip: User Groups enable easier maintenance when people join or leave your organization.

Create Your Location Groups

Add desired Locations and assign Users or User Groups to these Location Groups. [Read more: Location Groups]

Note: We recommend adding User Groups instead of individual Users to Locations and Location Groups for easier long-term maintenance.

Upload Manuals or Videos to the Library

Provide additional information required or helpful to perform Checklists by uploading manuals or videos. [Read more: Library]

Create Checklists and Add Content

Develop one or more Checklists that Users will follow. [Read more: Checklists]

Create Schedules for Your Checklists

Determine the frequency, Location, and Assignees for your Checklists. [Read more: Schedule]

Tip: Schedules control when and where Checklists should be performed and by whom.

Congratulations! Your Checklist is now available for your Users in the Mobaro mobile app.

Advanced Features

While the steps above will provide you with a basic working Mobaro setup, you might want to explore the more advanced features to add additional value to your setup. These steps are optional but highly beneficial.

Create Assignments

Assign tasks to Users or User Groups for better tracking and management. [Read more: Assignments]

Set Up Automatic Reporting

Add Power-Users and Users with Additional Access through Roles

Assign specific Roles to Users or User Groups for enhanced access and permissions. [Read more: Roles]

Translate Your Checklists to Additional Languages

Make your Checklists accessible to a wider audience by adding translations. [Read more: Checklist Translation]

Use Logic Within Your Checklists

Show or hide certain Checklist Elements dynamically based on conditions like day or Location. [Read more: Logic]

Tip: Logic enables dynamic transformation of your Checklists' content based on various factors.

Use Triggers to Create Assignments Based on User Responses

Automatically generate Assignments when specific responses are given. [Read more: Triggers]

Categorize Your Questions to Group Answers Across Multiple Checklists

Use Question Categories to organize and group related questions for better analysis. [Read more: Question Categories]

Utilize the Operational Log

The Operational Log provides a timeline of all open/close events for a Location, helping you track operational hours and identify patterns in Downtime. [Read More: Operational Log]

Regularly Review and Update User Permissions

Ensure that Users have the correct access levels and update their permissions as roles and responsibilities change.

Implement Regular Training Sessions

Conduct regular training sessions to keep Users updated on new features and best practices for using Mobaro efficiently.
