Overview
Location Maps can be utilized as visual versions of the Location Overview widget by using your own maps as the backdrop of the widget. Follow the steps below to start using the Location Map widget.
Users must be Super Users or have the following roles to manage and create Location Maps:
Organization: Administrate
Dashboard Templates: Manage
Step 1: Upload your park map
You will need a PNG or JPEG version of your park map to utilize this feature. If your file is not PNG or JPEG, try using an online file convertor and attempting the upload after getting the converted file.
Navigate to Configuration
Click the Location Maps tab
Click the + Create new location map button
Name your map
Upload the park map file
Click OK
Step 2: Adding location pins to your map
In order for your dashboards to properly display current status information, you first need to add location pins to your map.
Double click on the spot of the location you are attempting to add.
Enter the location name in the Add location box.
Click OK
Repeat this process for each location you wish to add to this map.
Click Save
Step 3: Adding a location map to a dashboard
The final step to see your location map is to add it to a new or existing dashboard of your choosing.
Click Add a widget
Scroll to find Location Map Overview
Click the Maps button
Select your Location Map
Click Save
