This article is about the visual representation of downtime on the dashbord. It explains different widgets and how you get a visual overview of downtimes on your Location Overview Dashboard. Furthermore it shows the operational status of the specific location.
Color indication of the location's operational state
The downtime states combined with locations’ operational state are indicated on the Location Overview Dashboard, through a color indicator on the bottom of each location. The downtime states are connected to a unique color/pattern:
Grey = no downtime registered, and the location is out of operation.
Green = no downtime registered, but the location is in operation.
Grey stripes = a resolved downtime is registered, and the location is marked as out of operation.
Yellow = an open downtime is registered, but the location can be marked as in operation without any action taken.
Red = location has a blocking downtime registered, and is marked as out of operation.
This bottom-bar indication works independently from the normal red/amber/green indication which is used on the header of the locations.
Grey
The location is marked as out of operation and there are no active downtime registrations on the location. In turn, this indicates a location which can be marked as operational.
Green
The location is marked as in operation and there are no active downtime registrations on the location.
Grey stripes
The location is marked as out of operation but there are resolved downtime registrations on the location. This indicates to the administrative staff, that there are downtime registrations which need to be closed and registered by them.
Yellow
The location has an open downtime registration. This is also referred to as a "non-blocking downtime" meaning that the location can be marked as open again at anytime.
Red
The location has a blocking downtime registration which needs to be handled, because of a blocking assignment created with the downtime registration. The creation of assignments is either done automatically through the setup or done by administrative staff.
Downtime widgets
With the reporting of operational hours and downtime on each location, Mobaro can calculate the average time it takes to repair either all or certain locations (MTTR) and the average amount of hours one or more locations are in operation between registered failures (MTBF). You can access this data with Location MTTR MTBF widget.
Through the filtering options you can manage whether you want it based on all locations, a group of locations or a single location. Furthermore, you can apply filters setting a time period or categories.
MTTR: Meantime to repair
The average amount of hours from a downtime is registered until the location is in operation again.
Note, that on the dashboard the unit of MTTR are measured in 0.00 part of an hour.
