How to use Ad Hoc Slots

Overview

Ad Hoc Slots can be utilized for one-time or non-frequent Checklists like a yearly PM or pre-season checklist. Ad Hoc Slots streamline the scheduling process for these Checklists.

Users must be Super Users or have the following roles to create Ad Hoc Slots:

  • Schedules: Create


How to create Ad Hoc Slots

Ad Hoc Slots are built similarly to Calendar Schedules, however, the big differences of the Ad Hoc Slots are meant for one-time completion of Checklists unlike Calendar Schedules which are uses for more regular interval completion of Checklists.

To create an Ad Hoc slot, complete the below steps:

  1. Click the > next to Schedules

  2. Click Ad Hoc Slots

  3. Click the + Create button

  4. Define the Start and End times and optional Grace Period / Reminders

  5. Attach a/several Checklists

  6. Point these Checklists to a Location / Location Group

  7. Assign the Checks to Assignees and Reviewers

  8. Toggle on applicable compliance settings

  9. Click Save

Ad Hoc Slot Statuses

When an Ad Hoc Slot is created, you will be able to see two statuses for these slots:

  • Future: These Ad Hoc Slots are planned to be completed at a future date

  • Started: These Ad Hoc Slot have entered the beginning of their Start date

Note: Started does not indicate a checklist has been Started, only that the time slot for the Ad Hoc Slot was started.
