How to Duplicate Checklists

Easily duplicate existing Checklists to save time and maintain consistency across your organization.

Overview

Copying Checklists helps streamline the creation process by leveraging existing configurations. You can rename the Checklist, adjust team assignments, and map triggers or references.


How to Copy a Checklist

Select the Checklist to Copy

Navigate to the Checklists page.

Locate the desired Checklist and select it.

Click the Copy icon in the toolbar.

Choose the Destination Organization

In the Copy Checklist modal, select the target organization from the dropdown menu.

Rename the Checklist

Update the name of the copied Checklist under the Namings tab.

optional Remove the Copy of prefix.

Tip: Use consistent naming conventions to differentiate between original and copied Checklists easily.

Map Assignments and Triggers

Switch to the Mappings tab.

Remap team assignments and triggers as needed.

The modal highlights mappings to ensure all triggers and responsibilities are appropriately assigned.

Note: When copying Checklists, ensure team assignments and triggers are correctly mapped to avoid workflow disruptions.

Review and Confirm

After verifying all details, click Copy to duplicate the Checklist.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I copy a Checklist to multiple organizations simultaneously?

A: No, Checklists can only be copied to one organization at a time. Repeat the process to copy it to another organization.

Q: What happens to triggers and team assignments during the copy process?

A: Triggers and team assignments are remapped according to the selections in the Mappings tab.

Q: Will copying a Checklist affect the original?

A: No, copying a Checklist creates a separate duplicate. Changes made to the copy do not affect the original.
