Logic based on the Checklist state

Show or hide a Checklist element or page based on the Checklist's state — for example in progress versus awaiting validation — so reviewer-only content appears at the right stage.

Overview

State-based logic shows or hides an element or page based on the Checklist's current state — for example whether it's in progress or awaiting validation. It lets you show different content to the person completing the Checklist and the person validating it.

Why this matters: A validation step often needs its own fields — a reviewer's sign-off, a second-line comment — that shouldn't clutter the form while the operator is still filling it in. State-based logic reveals that content only once the Checklist reaches the validation stage, keeping each person's view focused on their part.

How it works

Attach the logic to the element or page and choose the state in which it should appear. As the Checklist moves through its lifecycle, Mobaro shows the element only while the Checklist is in the matching state.

Note: This pairs naturally with validation. For how a Checklist comes to be in an awaiting validation state, see your Schedule's compliance and validation settings.

Example

An inspection Checklist has a page, "Supervisor validation," with state-based logic set to show only when the Checklist is awaiting validation. The operator completing the inspection never sees it; the supervisor reviewing the Result does, and signs off there.
