Overview
A Date Question captures a calendar date, and optionally a time, for logging events, recording deadlines, or scheduling follow-ups. It supports logic, and it supports triggers based on the entered date — so an action can fire depending on whether a date is reached, past, or upcoming.
Users must be Super Users or have the following Role to add or edit Checklist questions:
Checklists: Modify or Create
Why this matters: A date captured as free text can't be acted on. As a structured Date Question, the value can drive a trigger — flag a next-service date that's overdue, or escalate when an incident time falls in a sensitive window — and it stays sortable and reportable.
Adding a Date Question
1. Open the editor and add the question
In the Mobaro Backend, go to Checklists, open the editor, click Add an element, and choose Date Question. Enter a Title and optional Explanatory Text.
2. Choose date, or date and time
Leave the question as date-only, or enable Use Time to capture a time alongside the date.
