Overview

Location properties in Mobaro let you manage your operations dynamically by tailoring Checklists and tasks to specific locations. With properties, you can ensure that only relevant questions or elements appear for locations based on their assigned attributes.

For example, if a Checklist is used across multiple locations, only locations with the Coaster property might see track inspection-related questions, while others won't.

Create a New Category and Properties

Go to Location Properties

In the Mobaro Backend, navigate to Configuration > Locations.

Add a New Category

  • Click + Add category.

  • Enter a name for the category (e.g., "Ride Types").

Add Properties to the Category

  • Under the category, click + Add property.

  • Enter the name of the property (e.g., "Coaster," "Tower").

  • Repeat as needed for additional properties.

Tip: Name your properties descriptively to ensure clarity when applying them to Checklists or locations.

Assign Properties to Locations

Navigate to Locations

Go to Locations in the Mobaro Backend.

Select a Location

Choose the location to assign properties by clicking edit.

Assign Properties

  • Scroll to the Location Properties section.

  • Use the dropdown menu to select relevant properties from the list.

  • Check the applicable properties for that location.

Save Changes

Click the Save icon to apply the changes.

Warning: Be sure to review assigned properties carefully—changes to properties can impact Checklist logic and may affect operations.
