Overview

Operational statuses in Mobaro track and display the real-time availability of rides and assets. These statuses help organizations monitor uptime, manage downtime events, and ensure operational efficiency. This guide explains the different statuses and how they appear across the Mobaro Backend, the Mobaro Mobile App, and the RideOps interface.

Operational Status Colors and What They Mean

Operational statuses in Mobaro are visually represented using color codes, making it easy to identify the current state of rides or locations.

Color Codes and Their Meanings

Status

Significance

In Operation

Indicates the location is fully operational with no issues.

Open Downtime

(Not in operation)

Indicates a temporary interruption that does not block operation but may need attention.

Blocking Downtime

(Not in operation)

Indicates a critical issue preventing the location from operating. Requires resolution to reopen.

Not in Operation

Indicates the location is not operational, typically outside operational hours.

Update Status

Operators can log or update operational statuses directly from the app, including:

  • Logging a Downtime (Open or Blocking) and specifying a reason and category.

  • Opening a location.

  • Closing a location.

Tip: Ensure operators update statuses promptly to maintain accurate data.

Viewing Operational Statuses in RideOps

The RideOps Interface integrates operational statuses directly into ride operations.

To monitor and manage statuses in RideOps:

Access the RideOps Dashboard

View the current operational status on the RideOps interface.

Status Notifications

RideOps alerts Operators to changes in status, such as a shift to Blocking Downtime (Red).

Update Operational Status

Operators can flag downtime or mark a location as operational directly from RideOps.

Understanding the Ready for Operation (RFO) View

The Ready for Operation (RFO) view communicates whether a location meets the criteria to open.

RFO Statuses

Status

Significance

Ready for Operation

All critical items (e.g., checklists, assignments) are satisfied, and the location can open.

Not Ready for Operation

Missing critical items prevent the location from being toggled to operational.

Note: Your organization can customize criteria for RFO statuses, such as blocking downtimes or high-priority assignments.

Key Features of Operational Statuses

  • Real-Time Sync: Statuses update instantly across the Backend, Mobile App, and RideOps for consistency.

  • Downtime Categorization: Downtime can be logged with reasons such as Mechanical, Staffing, or Weather.

  • Audit Trail: Every status update includes timestamps, user details, and associated notes.
