I can't use MiniPay — how do I fix it?

Troubleshooting guide for common MiniPay issues — unable to log in, send money, deposit, withdraw, or access your account.

Find your situation below and follow the steps to resolve it.

  • 🔐 I can't log in → Jump to Unable to Log In

  • 💸 I can't send money → Jump to Unable to Send Money

  • 🏦 My deposit or withdrawal isn't working → Jump to Unable to Deposit or Withdraw

  • 📲 I'm not receiving my verification code → Jump to Unable to Verify Your Phone Number

🔐 Unable to Log In

MiniPay uses your Google or Apple account to sign you in. If you cannot log in:

  1. Make sure you are signing in with the same Google or Apple account you used when you first created your MiniPay wallet.

  2. If your balance shows $0 after logging in, you are likely using the wrong account. Sign out and try again with the correct one.

  3. If you forgot your Google or Apple password, reset it directly with Google (accounts.google.com/signin/recovery) or Apple (iforgot.apple.com).

  4. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

⛔ If your login has been blocked, it may be because multiple accounts were used on the same device. MiniPay allows only one account per device. Accounts involved in multi-account activity are subject to login restrictions under our Terms of Service.

💸 Unable to Send Money

If you are getting an error when trying to send funds:

  1. Check that your device has an authentication method set up (fingerprint, face ID, or PIN).

  2. Restart your device and reinstall the MiniPay app, then sign in again.

  3. Make sure you are sending to the correct phone number or wallet address.

  4. Check your balance — ensure you have sufficient funds including any network fees.

💡 If you see a "Keychain error: -25300", sign out of MiniPay and sign back in. This usually resolves the issue.

🏦 Unable to Deposit or Withdraw

Most deposit and withdrawal issues are handled by third-party payment partners, not MiniPay directly. If a deposit or withdrawal is failing or delayed:

  1. Check your Activity history to see the transaction status (Pending, Processing, or Complete).

  2. Check whether the delay is within the normal processing window: MiniPay wallet transfers take seconds, local cash deposits and withdrawals take 1–3 business days, SEPA is usually instant, and ACH takes 1–5 business days.

  3. If the window has passed, tap the transaction in your Activity history, then tap the Support button (top-right corner) to contact the payment partner directly.

💡 If the partner has not responded or your transaction shows Complete but funds haven't arrived, contact MiniPay Support through the in-app Help menu.

📲 Unable to Verify Your Phone Number

If you are not receiving your verification code:

  1. Update to the latest version of MiniPay or Opera Mini.

  2. Switch from SMS to WhatsApp verification, or vice versa.

  3. If you see a "Too Many Requests" error, wait 24 hours and try again.

  4. Make sure you are using a personal phone number, not a shared or virtual one.

⚠️ SMS verification is temporarily unavailable in some countries. Use the WhatsApp verification option instead.
