MiniPay has three different security credentials. This article explains what to do if you've forgotten any of them.
🔑 Forgot Your Login Password (Google or Apple)
MiniPay does not have its own login password — it uses your Google or Apple account to sign you in. If you've forgotten this password, you need to reset it directly with Google or Apple.
Go to the recovery page for your account provider:
Follow the on-screen steps to reset your password.
Once reset, open MiniPay and sign in with your updated credentials.
Google Account Recovery: accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
Apple ID Account Recovery: iforgot.apple.com
💡 If you sign in and your balance shows $0, you may be using the wrong Google or Apple account. Sign out and log back in with the original account you used to create MiniPay.
🔢 Forgot Your MiniPay PIN
Your MiniPay PIN is your device's screen lock (fingerprint, face ID, or numeric PIN set in your phone's system settings) — it is not a PIN created or stored by MiniPay. MiniPay cannot reset or recover it for you.
🔒 To reset your phone's screen lock PIN, go to your device's Settings → Security (Android) or Settings → Face ID & Passcode (iPhone) and follow the steps there. If you've forgotten your device passcode entirely, contact your phone manufacturer's support — this is outside MiniPay's control.
📋 Forgot Your Secret Recovery Phrase
Your Secret Recovery Phrase is the master key to your MiniPay wallet. It cannot be reset or recovered — not by you, and not by MiniPay Support.
If you still have access to your MiniPay app, you can find your phrase at: Profile Icon → About → Secret Recovery Phrase.
If you have lost your phrase and can no longer access your wallet, unfortunately your funds cannot be recovered. MiniPay is a self-custody wallet, meaning only you hold the keys.
🛡️ Always write down your Secret Recovery Phrase and store it in a safe, private place. Never share it with anyone — not even MiniPay Support.
