Movelocation operation within MICAD IPR
To use the "Movelocation" page you will have to type or paste in the page Name, as no link to the Page exists at present.
You will need to Navigate to the location which you want to move. Once there you will see in the Address search bar the address of the page you are currently on.
You can only move a location between two parent level locations.
I.E.
Move a site between two regions.
Move a building between two sites.
Move a floor between two buildings.
Move a room between two floors.
e.g Move a Building.
You have navigated to a building you wish to move between sites, your address bar would show the following:
https://{your server name}.micadipr.net/pages/building_details.aspx?id=(The ID of the current location)&pb=20&page=1
You will need to replace the highlighted text with the following "movelocation.asp"
If you have typed in the replacement correctly you should see something like this:
The main page is replaced with a drop down showing (in this case) all the possible sites to move the building to.
You just need to select the location to move to and the location you are currently at will then be located underneath the parent location you have picked from the drop down.
To make this easier you may wish to temporarily rename the location you wish to move to. This will make selection easier from the drop down. You can then rename back to its original name.
