Choosing a payment method

Click the Choose payment method field to select your payment method.

Click to select your preferred payment method.

ApplePay: appears as an option on iOs devices.

MobilePay: Once the payment has been accepted, you will be taken directly to the app in question.

Payment card: Payment card details are entered after the payment has been accepted.

Finally, swipe the Swipe to order button to the right to proceed to entering your payment card details.

EPass as a payment method

EPass can be selected as a payment method if you have downloaded the EPass app on your phone.

Once you have selected EPass as your payment method, click Continue.

Activate.

You will automatically be taken to the EPass app to activate EPass as a payment method in the Trips and Tickets app.

Finally, swipe the Swipe to order button to the right to proceed to make your payment with EPass.

Entering payment card details

Saving a payment card

If you activate Save card for later use when entering payment card details, the card will appear as an option in the payment method list.

If you have set a default payment method on the Settings→ Payment methods tab, the default payment method will automatically appear on the purchase summary page.

In this case, you do not need to choose from the Choose payment methods options.

You can go directly to the payment of your order.

Note!

A security code must always be entered if you use a payment card as the payment method.

Finally:

If you change your phone, remember that purchased tickets are saved under the user ID used for the purchase.

Therefore, open the Trips and Tickets app with the same user ID you used to sign up and buy your tickets.

A ticket can be transferred to another device if, for example, the phone breaks or otherwise needs to be replaced.

Please note, however, that the ticket can only be opened on another device after 24 hours have elapsed since the last bus trip.

Matkahuolto will not reimburse you for any costs due to phone replacement, such as a paid one-time trip.
