Cannot install the app or having problems with registration?
You can download and install the Trips and Tickets app from Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS). Try to uninstall the app and install it again. If the problem persists please contact Matkahuolto customer support by email at matkapalvelut.palautteet@matkahuolto.fi or via the chat at the bottom right of this page.

Problems with logging in

Activating Trips and Tickets happens via an email message. If you do not receive the activation email, please double check your Spam folder.

If you can not activate Trips and Tickets from the button in the activation email, please try to enter the PIN code contained in the message to the app's start screen.

Problems with joining the Valmet Automotive group

Please make sure that you have filled in your first and last names, your phone number and that you have entered the Valmet Automotive campaign code and your personal number correctly. Your employer should provide you with the campaign code.

I don't have an employee ID number

If you are starting out at Valmet Automotive and do not yet have an ID number please enter your date of birth instead of an ID number (DDMMYYYY). When you´ll get your ID number you can change it in the app.

Problems with entering the employee ID number

If you have not entered your Valmet Automotive employee ID number your membership is not confirmed and you cannot start using the services for Valmet Automotive workers.

You can add your ID number in your User Profile. Click on the unconfirmed Valmet Automotive - membership to access the page in which you can enter your ID number.

Problems with entering payment details

Please check first if you have allowed debit and / or online payments on your card. You can do this either contacting your bank or using your online bank account.

If the problem persists despite allowing the above, please contact Matkahuolto customer support using the chat at the bottom right corner of this page or by email to matkapalvelut.palautteet@matkahuolto.fi. If possible, please include screen caps of the error messages.


Problems with buying or showing a ticket

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the app and that you have a network connection.

If the problem persists after updating the application, please contact Matkahuolto customer support using the chat at the bottom right corner of this page or by email to matkapalvelut.palautteet@matkahuolto.fi. If possible, please include screen caps of your buying attempts and from the possible error messages.

If the problem is not solved in time, you need to purchase a normal ticket from the driver. If the Matkahuolto order database shows that you had a valid ticket that did not open for you for reasons you could not influence, you will be credited with the price of the ticket purchased from the driver in the form of a discount coupon added to your account. It can be used for buying new tickets.

Problems with opening the season ticket

A reason for this can be that you have changed the device for using the tickets too many times. Changing your device (mobile phone) is possible only once during the validity period of the ticket. This enables you to use the ticket with a spare phone should your main phone get damaged. You can also transfer the ticket back to its original device. Should you try to use a ticket on a third device it will be prevented from transfer and will be locked to the device it was previously used on.

Please note that resetting your device results in the app seeing your device as a new one, so it can result in the app getting locked.
