How to activate 2FA
Go to Account Settings → Security
Choose your preferred method: SMS or authenticator app
Follow the steps to confirm your chosen method
Once activation is complete, you'll also receive 10 single-use recovery codes: save them somewhere safe, they let you get back in even if you lose your phone later. You can generate a new set anytime from Settings → Security.
Which methods you can choose
SMS: you receive a code by text message every time you log in from an unrecognized device.
Authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy): generates a code directly on your phone, even without an internet connection.
You can only activate one of the two at a time, but you can switch anytime from Settings → Security. We recommend always keeping a verified phone number on your account, even if you choose the app as your primary method: it's the simplest way to avoid losing access if you change phones.
What to do if you don't receive the code
You can request a new code directly from the verification screen. If the problem continues after two attempts, contact our support team.
If your organization requires 2FA
If you're part of an organization, the Administrator can require all users to activate 2FA.
