What the Private library is
The Private library is available in the left-hand panel of the platform. By selecting it you can:
See all the files already uploaded
Upload new ones, in PDF, TXT or Word format
The library is fully customisable (you can upload or delete documents at any time) and is shared across all the accounts associated with the subscription.
How to have a document from the library analysed
Upload the document of interest to the Private library (in the example: a legal journal article on the assignment of a tax credit under the "Decreto Rilancio")
Go back to the home page and formulate the legal query, referring to the document. For example:
Analyse the article in the private library on the assignment of a tax credit to other parties under the "Decreto Rilancio". In particular, tell me how recent case law has interpreted the matter, flagging any doubts or contentious points that emerge from the article compared with current law.
Tick the Private library among the sources, so that Lexroom can retrieve the article
Select the modules of interest (in the example: Insurance and Civil)
Send the query
How to read the answer
The sources used (in the example: 13) can all be viewed in the right-hand panel: each source can be downloaded in its original form, or you can view its relevant excerpt — that is, the part used by Lexroom to answer
In the text, each point includes the citation that links to the specific ruling
At the end of the answer you can copy it or export it to PDF or Word
Go deeper
In the bottom panel you can write a follow-up (ask for further specifics about the answer given) and attach new documentation to further improve the relevance of the answer.
