How it works
Ask Lexroom is the most-used section of the platform: you enter a legal query and Lexroom's artificial intelligence gives you an answer based on verifiable sources, generally within 60 seconds.
Select the specific module for the query (e.g. Family)
If useful, also add a macro-module (e.g. Civil): Lexroom will search for information and sources in both databases
Write the query and send it with the arrow
Write in natural language, not keywords
Unlike traditional databases, the search should not be done by keywords (e.g. "intra-family damage compensation"), but by formulating a proper query, with questions in interrogative form. This way the artificial intelligence better understands what you're asking and produces a more accurate answer.
How to read the answer and the sources
In the sources panel you'll find all the sources used (legislation and case law, from both the Supreme Court and lower courts): each source can be viewed in its original form and downloaded
In the text of the answer you'll find clickable boxes (e.g. C1, C2): by clicking them you can see the headnote, view the excerpt of the ruling used for that paragraph, search for concurring and dissenting decisions and download the full source
After the answer
Go deeper: keep interacting with the AI by asking for more detail on the answer, even by attaching new documents to analyse
Copy the entire opinion to move it onto your letterhead
Export it to PDF or Word
Format the answer (at the top) to turn it, for example, into an email, a bulleted list or a table — see how to use the Format function
