When you can appeal
You can appeal if:
Your post, comment, or account was restricted or removed, and
You believe we misread the situation or applied the wrong rule
You cannot appeal decisions involving confirmed CSE or serious criminal risk. We operate zero tolerance in those cases.
How to appeal
Open a new Support conversation in the app. Go into your Me section → Chat with us, choose Arabic, then follow:
For decisions regarding content
I have a request related to the account → Moderation → Review my blocked post
Once we receive your appeal, our team reviews it as soon as possible.

Once we receive your appeal, our team reviews it as soon as possible.
Timeline for Appeals
Acknowledgement: within 24 hours
Decision: within 72 hours (median). Complex cases can take longer if we need to check evidence or comply with legal holds

If you ever see someone in danger
If you see a post or message where someone seems at risk, for example, talking about suicide or serious harm, treat it as an emergency.
Tap the ⋯ on the post or message
Select Report abuse
Choose “Risk of harm”
Tap Report and you will receive confirmation
Our team of moderators will review it straight away and take action as quickly as possible such as by sending care messages with local resources.
If you ask us for information about another user, we will explain that:
We cannot share personal details about anyone on Jodel
If you believe someone is in danger, you should contact local police or emergency services and share what you know
They can contact our safety team directly at emergency@jodel.com, and we will work with them as required and permitted by law.
Quick recap
Jodel’s moderation system is designed to support consistency, accountability, and to correctly apply rules
Appeals are reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision
You will usually hear back within about three days
If we reverse a decision, your post or access returns automatically
