Every user in Interu is assigned a role within your organisation. Roles control what a user can see and do, from viewing supply chain records through to configuring the platform or managing other users. Assigning the right role ensures people have the access they need, nothing more.
There are four roles, listed from highest to lowest privilege:

Senior stakeholders who need unrestricted access
Anyone who needs to promote or demote Admin-level users
Use Admin for
Operations leads or platform administrators
Anyone who needs to configure custom fields, rulesets, or entity structure
Users who manage onboarding of new team members (as Contributor or Reviewer)
Use Contributor for
Supply chain managers, procurement teams, and compliance officers who actively create and update records
Anyone who needs to upload, link, or manage documents
Users who work within the platform's existing configuration but don't need to change it
Use Reviewer for
External stakeholders or senior leadership who need visibility without the ability to make changes
Temporary access for due diligence or compliance reviews
Any user where read-only access is a deliberate control

Can a user have more than one role?
No. Each user has a single role within your organisation. If you need to change a user's role, an Account Owner or Admin can update it from the Members page.
Can the Account Owner role be transferred?
Can the Account Owner role be transferred?
Yes. An Account Owner can assign the Account Owner role to another user. Doing so grants that user the same level of access. There is no limit on how many Account Owners an organisation can have.

Yes. Contributors can navigate to and view sections such as rulesets and custom fields, but all editing controls are disabled. They can see how the platform is configured but cannot change it.
Can a Reviewer see documents shared via a share link?
Can a Reviewer see documents shared via a share link?
Share links operate separately from the role system. A share link gives access to a specific record regardless of the recipient's role. The Reviewer role applies to users who are members of your organisation.
