Overview
Assessment notifications can be included in daily and weekly automated reminder emails. This article covers who can receive them, how to set the recipient, and what happens when you change a segment administrator. For the emails themselves, see How do I start or stop automated reminder emails?
Who can receive assessment notifications

LMS administrator
Segment administrator (notifications for learners in their segment)
Note: Each segment must have one segment administrator with Admin or Write access to the segment (see How do I create a segment administrator?). If a segment has more than one segment administrator, notifications are sent to the first one the LMS finds in that segment.
Setting the notification recipient
Click the Settings tab in the side menu, or the ⚙ Settings icon in the top-right corner.
In the Add-Ons card, click Assessment settings.
In the Topic settings card, find the assessment you want to update.
Click the menu icon (...) on the right of its details, then click Edit.
In the Notification recipient card, choose who receives notifications:
Primary contact — all notifications are sent to the Account Owner.
LMS administrator — all notifications are sent to one administrator, chosen from the list of LMS administrators.
Segment administrator — choose the segment group by selecting the custom profile field used in your segment rule (for example, Location). Notifications for each segment are sent to that segment's administrator.
Select the check box to include all in-progress assessments, if needed.
Click Save changes.
Changing a segment administrator
If you use organisational segments and you change a segment administrator:
All new assessment notifications for that segment go to the new segment administrator.
All in-progress assessment notifications for that segment continue going to the previous administrator.
To send in-progress notifications to the new administrator too, repeat the steps above and select the check box to include all in-progress assessments.
