How to monitor pending patient invites on Huma (SMS & Email)

This help guide walks you through how you can view a list of patients who have not yet created their Huma account

A key benefit of inviting patients through Huma's SMS and Email invitation system is that you can track pending invitations and follow-up with patients who have not yet created their Huma account.


1. How to view pending patient invites

To view a list of patients who have not yet created their Huma account, do the below:

  • From the patient list navigate to the 'All patients' filter at the top of the screen and click on the filter

  • Scroll over 'patients' and then navigate and click on 'pending patient invitations'

  • You will then see a list of all patients who have not yet created their Huma account and details pertaining to their invitation i.e. date, time, time till expiry and who sent the invite originally

2. Following up with 'pending patients'

We suggest all pending patients are followed up with a phone call.

  • Technical issues with an invite: If during the call the patient describes a technical issue, please ask the patient to contact the Huma customer care team (support@huma.com) - our team can help the patient get set up on Huma.

  • Can't find the invite / Needs a new invite: Whilst on the call, feel free to re-send a new invite to the patient and confirm that the patient has received the new invite before ending the call.

3. Re-sending email invites to patients

To send a new invite, do the following:

  • From the 'pending patient' list, navigate to and click on the additional options / three dot menu (...)

  • Click on 're-send invitation'

  • A push notification will appear to confirm you have successfully re-invited the patient!
