How to invite colleagues to the Huma Clinician Portal

This help guide walks you through how Huma Portal users can invite colleagues to register for a Huma Clinician Portal account

Within the Huma Clinician Portal is the functionality to invite colleagues and other health care professionals to create a Huma Account and access the Huma Portal. This is a permission based function that only nominated Huma Portal users will have access to.

Please speak to your nominated Admin / Master User for access to this function or contact support@huma.com for more information.

Note, it is also the responsibility of such users to ensure adherence to the User Agreement/Terms & Conditions.


  • To invite other colleagues and other staff members, make sure you are logged in and on the organisation dashboard page - this is the first page you see once you have signed into the Huma Portal.

  • Next, navigate to the top right hand corner of the screen and click on your name (Account Profile)

  • Within the drop down menu click on invite staff members. A pop up window will appear detailing next steps.

  • To send an invite, simply type or copy and paste the Email address of your colleague followed by tapping the 'Enter' key on your keyboard to confirm the email address

  • Secondly, pick a suitable user role. Huma has a dew default roles to pick from. You may also have custom roles with custom permissions set during the setup phase of Huma. You can also create custom roles with further control on what users can or can’t do - for more information, click here.

If you are unsure which role you should pick, please contact support@huma.com for more information 
  • Once you've selected a role, click on 'Send staff member invites' and then confirm the invite by reading the message that appears on screen and clicking on 'Send staff member invites'

  • Your colleagues will receive an Email from Huma, asking them to sign up for an account, as shown below
