How do RAG Thresholds currently work? (Cohort Level)
During setup of your Huma Portal, your clinical lead would have agreed on a set of RAG thresholds for all vitals of interest. This is set at the cohort level by Huma during the setup process.
Let's look at an example, Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)
At the cohort level, RAG thresholds for oxygen saturation could be configured as follows:
Red (R): <=93%
Amber (A): 94-95%
Green (G): ≥96%
All patients who submit oxygen saturation readings would flag Red, Amber and Green on the Huma 'Patient list' in accordance to the above preset thresholds.
1. How to personalise RAG thresholds
You can personalise RAG thresholds on an individual patient basis giving you the ability to tailor remote patient monitoring for any given patient.
a. Accessing the RAG Rating menu for a patient
'Rag Rating' is where you can view all vitals for a given patient that can be personalised.
From the Patient list, click the name of the patient you want to personalise thresholds for e.g. Priya Smith
Click the patient profile icon
You will see a new section titled RAG Rating - click on this
The RAG Rating screen gives you a birds eye view of all vitals that can be personalised for a given patient

b. Personalising RAG Thresholds
Let's personalise the RAG thresholds for Heart rate for Priya Smith.
Within heart rate, click configure
A confirmation screen will appear - review this and click confirm
You are then prompted to enter your custom Red, Amber and Green thresholds
For Priya, let's personalise Heart rate and update the following:
Red to greater or equal to 119
Amber upper range of 118
After entering the new RAG Thresholds, you are required to specify a reason, provide justification for the change. Once complete, click save changes
A final confirmation screen will appear asking you to verify the change - click confirm to finish!
Done! Thresholds for heart rate have successfully been updated.

2. How to spot patients with personalised RAG Thresholds?
Patient List: Where thresholds have been personalised for a given vital, these will now feature an (i) next to the latest reading on the patient list. Scrolling over the (i) leads to a pop-up appearing. This states that this threshold has been personalised. See example below for heart rate:
3. How to track RAG Threshold changes (Audit Trail)
Every RAG threshold change is recorded for audit purposes and can be found in a dedicated log stored within the 'Rag Rating' section in the Patients profile.
Let's view the RAG Threshold log for Heart rate for Priya Smith:
Where a threshold has been personalised, you will see a button named View log
Click on view log for Heart rate
The following information is displayed in the log per RAG Threshold change
Date and time of change
Details of Red, Amber and Green changes
Name of Huma user that made the change to the RAG Threshold
