Using the Huma app to answer Video and Audio calls from your care team | (iPhone)

This help guide walks you through how to answer video or audio calls with your care team, on your iPhone

Your care team may contact you through the Huma app to check in on how you are doing. Calls can be video and/or audio and are one-way only i.e. from your care team to you.


Your first call with your care team

The below describes how to answer your first call from a member of your care team.

  • Option 1: When a call comes through on your iPhone, you will receive a push notification titled 'open app to enter the call'. All you need to do is 'tap the notification' to answer the call

  • Option 2: Alternatively, if you don't see a push notification, you can accept the call by 'sliding to answer'

  • After answering the call, do the following:

  1. Unlock your phone (Passcode or Biometrics (Face or Finger print)

  2. Grant the Huma app access to your smartphones camera

  3. Grant the Huma app access to your smartphones microphone

  4. Start talking to your care team!

Follow-up calls with your care team

As you are now set up for calls with your care team, to answer follow-up calls, simply do the following:

  1. Answer the call by taping the push notification that appears OR Sliding to answer

  2. Unlock your phone (Passcode or Biometrics (Face or Finger print)

  3. Tap the Huma logo or Camera icon

  4. Start talking to your care team!

Missed Huma calls?

You will receive a push notification to notify you of any missed calls from your care team.

If you have missed a call, please contact your care team through alternative means e.g. Email or phone call. The Huma video/audio call functionality is one-way only.
