The progression of the disease varies from person to person but tends to get worse over time.
How MG Progresses
The disease can change over time, but usually gets worse.
Some people (10% - 40%), only have weak eye muscles.
The rest have increasing weakness in throat and limb muscles.
In two thirds of people, maximum weakness occurs in the first year.
Different stages of MG

Symptoms change quickly at first.
They then tend to get worse for several years.
Inactive State
After the active stage, symptoms improve and tend to fluctuate.
Here, any changes in strength are often because of:

Some muscles might stop working altogether.
