The reason why you can't order and who controls this
The GP surgery control the medication you see on your Rowlands Prescription App account.
This means that they can block you from ordering certain medication if their system shows that it needs a clinician review.
You'll see the below message on the medication:
Contact your GP surgery for more information, as the Rowlands Prescription App patient experience team are not able to remove this block or place an order on your behalf.
If you've had the review and the block still hasn't been removed, you'll need to speak with the GP surgery.
Why can't I order until the date showing on my account?
The reason why the date is there and why
The GP surgery control the medication and dates listed on your Rowlands Prescription App account; it's taken directly from their system so that they can control the frequency of requests.
If you're not able to select a medication for ordering, it's likely that the GP surgery are only allowing you to order after a certain date has passed, or that the GP surgery have issued a repeat batch of prescriptions to last until the date shown on your account, which may be a date in the future.
If you need the date to be brought forward, or you're not sure if it is due to a repeat dispense batch of prescriptions, contact your GP surgery to find out.
The Rowlands Prescription App patient experience team are not able to amend the dates.
