With Hero, you have the ability to create static booking links for specific services. These links can be used on a specific service page on a website, on a social media post, or sent in a message using a non-Hero message provider.
The Hero booking links require patients to sign in either via the NHS login or by creating an account (if you are a non-NHS practice).
Step 1: Open the link builder
On the Hero home screen you can click the tile, Create booking link, this will open the link builder window.
Step 2: Specify your service
In the link builder, you can specify the location and appointment (optionally you can specify a practitioner) for the service you are offering.
Top tip: If you are creating a generic service select All practitioners, the appointment displayed to the patient are governed by your EMIS diary.
Step 3: Create the link and put it into use
Once you are happy with the location, appointment and practitioner you have selected click Create link.
You can now add this booking link to your website or post it on social media.
