[Transact] - Analytics Dashboard

Written by Emanuel

The Notabene Analytics Dashboard is designed to make the data behind your Travel Rule program easy to access, understand, and act on.

The dashboard gives your team an up-to-date view of key metrics—including transaction volume and direction, authorization and rejection rates, processing times, counterparties, and Travel Rule applicability, so you can monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize your Travel Rule program.

Transaction Metrics

The Transaction Metrics tab provides insights into transaction activity, compliance outcomes, and operational performance.

  • Total Transactions = Number of transfers in the selected period across all statuses and both directions

  • Total Volume = Total value of all transactions in the period, shown in your configured currency. Includes transfers in every status authorised, flagged, rejected and in-progress.

  • Authorization Rate = All transactions with authorised status. Authorisation is the compliance decision to permit a transaction.

  • Rejection Rate = All transactions with rejected status. A meaningful rate confirms your policies are catching risks.

  • Manual Review Rate = All transactions that required manual review rather than automated decisioning

  • Median Latency = Typical time from transaction initiation to final decision.

  • Status Breakdown = Distribution of transactions across each status. Includes all status values currently produced by the system.

  • Transaction Direction = Split of transactions by direction: outgoing (your customers sending) vs incoming (your customers receiving).

  • Wallet Type = Split of transctions by counterparty wallet type: Hosted (held by a custodian/VASP) vs self-hosted (held directly by an individual). Self-hosted transactions may require additional proof of ownership in certain jurisdictions.

  • Travel Rule Threshold = Whether the Travel Rule applied to each transfer, based on the applicable jurisdictional threshold. Undetermined: transfers where threshold status could not be determined at query time. This typically reflects transfers still in-fllight, missing counterparty data, or timing between transaction and reference data updates. If persistently high, contact support.

  • Ownership Proof = How ownerhip of self-hosted wallets was verified, grouped by method: Cryptographic signature (wallet-signed message), Micro Transaction (satoshi test), Self-declaration, Screenshot, or Other (custom proof). Hover a segment to see the underlying proof standard. Only transfers with a recorded proof are included.

You can customize the Transaction Metrics view using the controls at the top of the dashboard. Metrics can be displayed based on transaction count or transaction volume and filtered for a specific time range.

Counterparty Metrics

The Counterparty Metrics tab provides insights into the counterparties you transact with, their jurisdictions, response times, and due diligence activity.

  • Active Counterparties = Distinct counterparties with at least one transaction in she selected window and direction.

  • Top Counterparty by volume = Counterparties with the highest total transaction volume in the selected window and direction, and its shared of total volume.

  • Median Response = Median time from an incoming's transaction creation to your team's first disposition (authorize / reject / force-authorize). Median time from your outgoing transaction to the counterparty's first response.

  • Due Diligence = Counts of due-diligence requets by status split by direction. (Incoming are requests sent to you; Outgoing are requests you sent).

  • Top Counterparties = Counterparties ranked by the chosen column for the selected window and direction.

  • Top Jurisdictions by Volume = Counterparties grouped by registered jurisdiction, ranked by total volume in the selected window and direction.
