[Transact] - Network Policies

Important: Network Policies take priority over Counterparty and Jurisdictions policies.

On the Network page, you can assign a label to each counterparty:

  • Trust → automatically allow transactions to be processed

  • Flag → send transactions for manual review

  • Ban → automatically reject transactions

These labels act as network-level policies for specific counterparties.

How Network policies interact with other policies

  • Network policies take priority over Counterparty and Jurisdiction policies.

  • Transaction-level and end-customer (PII) policies always apply and cannot be overridden by network policies.

Why this matters
Network policies allow you to:

  • build trusted relationships with known counterparties

  • reduce friction for reliable partners

  • enforce transaction-level compliance controls

Example
If a jurisdiction policy flags a country but a specific VASP from that country is marked as Trusted, the transaction can still be authorized. However, if the transaction triggers a risk or compliance check, it may still be flagged or rejected, regardless of the counterparty's trust status.
