[Transact] - Revert Flow: Incoming

Updated over a week ago

The Revert Flow handles rejected withdrawals where a Travel Rule message could not be completed. Both parties involved in the transaction can initiate a revert request (both scenarios are covered in this article).

1. Revert Flow initiated by you.

You can request to revert a transaction that is in a Flagged Settlement status which can be found under Action Required, Incoming, or All section.

Click Revert and provide a reason for the request. The status will update to Revert Requested.

Once the originator authorizes the revert request and provides the destination address, proceed with returning the funds and click Settle. You will be prompted to provide the transaction hash.

Once submitted, the status will update to Reverted and no further action is required.

2. Revert Flow initiated by your counterparty

The transaction will appear with a Revert Flagged status and can be found under Action Required, Incoming, or All section.

You can either Authorize or Reject the request:

  • If you reject it, you will be prompted to provide a reason.

  • If you wish to proceed with the return, click authorize and the address will be revealed. The address is also visible above the action buttons.

Once the funds have been returned, click Settle and provide the transaction hash.

The status will update to Reverted. The revert transaction hash will be stored under Revert Settlement ID.
