Crypto asset transfers are always subject to the same scope of obligations. This means that the scope of information that needs to be transmitted does not vary depending on the transaction amount.

Required Originator and Beneficiary information vs Notabene system for natural person

By default, the system applies cross-border requirements to all transactions. Where the transfer of value is domestic, section 4(3) of the Rules allows for the transmission of originator information only. The system assumes this domestic condition is not met.

(*) According to Section 19 of the Act.
(**) Section 19 of the Act requires the inclusion of the place of birth only. However, the IVMS standard does not provide a standalone field for place of birth. To address this, the system uses the dateAndPlaceOfBirth field to capture this information. Where necessary, the date of birth component may be populated with placeholder data.
