When you sign into Notabene Transact using a username and password and when you use the google oAuth flow by default two different users will be created.

If you what to be able to see the same account setup in using the username and password as well as the Google oAuth flow you have to link the two accounts.

Breakdown of the steps:

  1. click on your User Name at the bottom left of the screen;

  2. click on "Linked accounts"

  3. the primary account will be the one you are logged in with

  4. select the other account, it can be one of the following types:

    1. google-oauth2: Transact (V2) OAuth user

    2. Username-Password-Authentication: Transact (V2) Username and Password user

    3. email: SafeTransact (V1) user

  5. select the other Transact user (options A or B above) by clicking "Link";

  6. Now you will have to authenticate again using the flow that was not your primary account;

  7. Upon successful login the two accounts are linked and you can use any auth method to get access to the same account.
