What is a shift invitation?
A shift invitation is a a type of shift that the hiring team has specifically offered to you. Only you will be able to see your shift invitations and only you can book them. They can be used by the hiring team in addition to the standard shifts that already exists.
How to book a shift invitation
When you are invited to a shift, you will receive a push notification to let you know about your invitation. The notification contains the following information:
Title: New shift invitation 🌟
Subtitle: Supplier name
Message: You have been requested to work on an upcoming shift: [shift name] [date].
You can book a shift invitation in the same way as a regular available shift but your invited shifts will have a 🌟 attached to it so you know it is reserved for you only.
The shift invitations follow the same checks and rules as regular available shifts. This includes validations such as schedule conflicts, availability and other compliance rules. If you do not meet the requirements or if the shift overlaps with another booking, you cannot book the shift.
How to filter the shifts invitations
When you have available shift invitations, the Invited shifts filter appears second on the Available Shifts screen. Tap the filter to view only the shifts you have been invited to. This makes it easier to quickly find and book your shift invitations.
