Why can't I check out of my shift?

Here are some common reasons why you cannot check out of your shift:

1. The check-out window has closed

Your check-out window will be set by your hiring team to determine how long you have, once your shift has ended, to check out of your shift.

For example: If the check-out window is set to 2 hours and your shift ends at 6:00pm, you will have until 8:00pm to check out of your shift.

Once the time is 8:00pm, you will no longer be able to check out.

Tip: If you fail to check out of your shift, tap the Add note option on your shift to explain to your hiring manager why you failed to check out.

2. The check-out window has not opened yet.

You will only be able to check out of your shift once you have checked in. There will a 1 minute wait after you check in before you are able to check out.

3. Your shift does not require check-in or check-out

Depending on your hiring teams preferences, you may not be required to check in (or out) of your shift. This means no check-in or check-out option will be prompted for the duration of your shift.
