Why can't I check into my shift?

Here are some common reasons why you cannot check into your shift:

1. The check-in window has not opened yet.

Your check-in window will be set by your hiring team to determine when you will be able to check into your shift before it starts. You will be prompted in app to check in once the check-in window has opened.

​For example: If the check-in window is set to 15 mins and your shift starts at 9:00am, you will be able check in from 8:45 am.

2. The check-in window has closed

The check-in window will close once your shift has ended. This means after your shift end time has passed and you have not checked in, your shift will be ineligible to check in.

Tip: If you fail to check into your shift, tap the Add note option on your shift to explain to your hiring manager why you failed to check in.

3. Your shift does not require check-in or check-out

Depending on your hiring teams preferences, you may not be required to check in (or out) of your shift. This means no check-in or check-out option will be prompted for the duration of your shift.
