How to start using the Volkswagen Group OEM integration

Setting up the Volkswagen Group OEM integration is a simple process that allows you to connect eligible vehicles to our system without installing additional hardware.

Follow the steps below to activate the integration and start receiving vehicle data.

🔔Integration management is available for administrators or users with unlimited access only.

Add vehicles

🔔 Adding vehicles will increase your subscription fee.

📘 Your vehicle's "Privacy mode" needs to be disabled, learn more here.

  1. Go to Integrations -> Volkswagen Group OEM

  2. Click Add vehicle, on the top right corner.

  3. Enter your vehicle's VIN and all required information.

  4. Click Submit at the bottom.

After submitting the registration for the vehicle, the onboarding status can be followed in the "Status" column.

When the vehicle is successfully onboarded and fully operational, the status will be set to “Active”.

📘 The vehicle's onboarding status updates are checked once every 15 minutes.

📘 The Volkswagen group checks if the vehicle's privacy mode is disabled, once every 24 hours.

The vehicle can only enter the "Active" status after it is verified that the "privacy mode" of the vehicle is disabled, therefore, the time of onboarding can take up to 24 hours, while this check on their side is completed.

⚠️ If you no longer own a vehicle, you must immediately unregister it from the integration and remove it from your account.

It is your responsibility to ensure that only vehicles you own, or you are authorized to manage, are connected to the integration.
