To view tachograph data in the Online Map, a few things need to be set up first.
This includes connecting the tachograph to the telematics device, enabling the tachograph data block, and making sure the right user permissions are in place.
Follow the steps below to get everything set up and start seeing tachograph data for your vehicles.
How to enable
1. Get tachograph data
Your vehicle's tachograph device must be connected to the telematics device and must be configured to send this data to our system.
📘Please note that this setup needs to be done for each vehicle individually. Every vehicle must have its tachograph connected and properly configured in order for the data to appear in the platform.
2. Enable tachograph block
Once we receive tachograph data, you must make that block visible:
Go to
Online Map.
Select a vehicle to open it (any vehicle).
Click the
three dotted icon on the top right of the data panel.
Select "Visible info blocks"
Mark the checkbox for "Tachograph".
Click the Save button at the bottom.
3. Check permissions
To view the tachograph activities graphs, you must also check your users' permissions:
Go to
Settings -> Users.
Look for your user and click the Edit button on the right side.
Click on the "Access rights" tab and then on "Permissions".
Make sure the "Hide tachograph and driver name from "Online" section" checkbox is unmarked.
Press the Save button at the bottom.
4. Assign drivers to vehicles
For data to appear in the tachograph block, each vehicle would also need a driver assigned to it. We have multiple ways to do this:
Option 1 - Driver assigns themselves
Using our mobile app for drivers. Drivers should select a vehicle in the app to be assigned to it. Learn more here.
Option 2. Assign from data panel
Opening your vehicle in the Online Map section, and assigning the driver directly from the vehicle's data panel. Learn more here.
Option 3. Assign from vehicle settings
Filling in the "Driver" field in the vehicle's settings, in the "General" tab.
Where to find it
Once your vehicle can receive tachograph data, your platform has the tachograph block visible, and your user has the proper permissions:
Go to
Online Map.Select your vehicle.
Scroll down the data panel until you see the tachograph block.
