What is the "Condition" column for?

Updated over a week ago

The Condition column — in the "Downloaded files" section, in the Drivers and Vehicles tabs — displays the result of each tachograph file signature verification.

When a tachograph downloads a DDD file from a vehicle or driver card, the file contains cryptographic signatures that prove the data hasn't been tampered with.

After a file is downloaded, our system verifies these signatures.

The Condition column includes all download attempts — even the failed ones.

It helps you:

  • Understand why a file is available, has issues, or is missing

  • Spot failed download attempts and investigate them

  • Identify possible hardware or connection problems

Condition statuses

Based on this check, each entry gets one of these statuses:

Status

Color

Meaning

Valid

Green

The file is fully verified and saved. It’s available for download and use.

Warning

Yellow

The file is saved, but has a non-critical issue (for example, an empty or missing technical signature). The file is still usable and the warning is recorded.

Invalid

Red

Signatures are genuinely broken (corrupted data, certificate issues). File was rejected, is not available for download and only the error is recorded.

Hover your cursor over the condition status to view more details.

If more than one error is found they will be separeted by a semicolon ( ; )

Filtering by condition

You can also filter your files by their condition status to focus only on valid, warning, or invalid entries.

🔔 When filtering by a specific vehicle or driver, invalid entries (red) are not shown, because they don’t have that data, only the error was recorded.
