Using Vertical Containers in your Plan [Phone]

How to add plants to the different layers of a tower planter using an iPhone or Android phone

The Garden Planner includes two tower planters among the Garden Object icons. Each tower contains up to five layers. You can view and edit the layers separately to make adding plants to your tower easy.

Add a tower planter to your plan, then tap on it once to select it. The floating toolbar indicates which vertical layer you are currently planning, with Layer 1 at the bottom and Layer 5 at the top.

Add plants to your tower planter. Most plants can be grown at closer spacings in containers, so the plant icons will automatically reduce in size to reflect this. The size of the icon and spacing can still be edited though.

Use the up and down arrows on the floating toolbar to navigate between layers.

Once the tower planter is filled with plants, to select the planter instead of the plants grown within it, tap anywhere on the planter then select Tower Planter in the floating toolbar.

Once selected, you can edit the planter, change the active layer, or move the planter to a different location on your plan.
